Overview
Tanzania offers some spectacular locations for wildlife photography safari in Africa, even if it’s not always easy to get the perfect photo! Photographers often come to Tanzania with the wildlife in mind – and for that the most famous locations are in the north: the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater. The Serengeti is one of Africa’s most captivating safari areas and the annual great wildebeest migration accompany by Zebra, Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelle without forget the predators which following them for getting easy prey. This can be the perfect moment for keen photographers.
Experience the beauty of Tanzania. It can be the venue for a magical photography safari; many of our destinations are very photogenic. We can help you to get the best out of your trip – and to plan a trip with lots of great photographic opportunities.
We provide special photographic safari vehicle which designed very well and with enough space which make you comfortable on having perfect photograph. Also our vehicle has got special charge station to charge your camera while on safari.
Here keen photographers will usually request one of our private 4WD vehicle and guides, for maximum flexibility in setting their own schedules.
We also advise you the best time to go for safari depends on what you’re interested and which will be the better area for you.
Itinerary
Arrive in Tanzania at the Kilimanjaro International airport where you will meet and greet with Off We Go Safaris guide. Then transfer to Arusha for dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Our guide will have a short safari briefing session with you at the lodge and leave you to relax and have dinner.

After breakfast at the lodge, you will be picked up and drive to Tarangire National Park, almost 2and half hours drive. Enjoy your full day game viewing in Tarangire. The Park is reputed to contain some of the largest herds of elephant in Africa and Ancient Baobab trees. Also there are other animals such us African Big Cats, Giraffes, Zebras, monkeys and Antelopes, (Eland, Buffalos, wildebeest, impala, grant Gazelles etc. ).
Evening drive to Tarangire Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight
After breakfast at the lodge, with packed lunch drive to Tarangire for a full day game viewing.
This long day will give you enough time to access to the area in which you could not cover in the first day. This brings meaning that the much you cover the more you see and create great experience.

After your breakfast you will head north to Lake Manyara National Park. It’s about 1 hour drive from the lodge. Lake Manyara National is at the foot of the Great Rift Valley. The park is named after the soda lake in the middle of the park. The park is famous for its tree Climbing lions, great bird life and the breading lessor flamingos. At the evening drive to the lodge.

After an early breakfast, depart towards the most famous National park in the World, the Serengeti. On your way you will make a quick stop at the Ngorongoro crater view point. This will be an unforgettable moment for anyone seeing it for the first time. As you progress well into Serengeti, you will see why they named Serengeti in Maasai language, which means “the endless plain”. It is the home of the Great Migration of wildebeests, which stand as an icon of the park .This great Migration include millions of animals together such as Wildebeest, zebras and Gazelles. This gives the African big cat’s unlimited food that why we called the Home Of The African Big cats (Lion Leopard, cheetahs) it’s the good place to look out for large predators. More than 500 species of birds also inhabit this park.

After breakfast at the camp, enjoy your full day game drive.
The Serengeti, Tanzania’s second largest National Park, covers about 14,763 sq km (5,700 sq miles) of grassland plains, Savannah, kopjes, hills, woodlands, and River line forests. The Seronera which is the central Serengeti is the area for excellent wildlife viewing. Seronera is an area which has got water throughout the year; this makes area being very potential habitat for the animals. Its where you can see predators waiting for the animal to come for drinking and wallowing and this can make you a vivid experience of how predators kills and prepare their food.
After an extensive game drive, Evening drive to the camp Dinner.
Overnight at Thorn Tree Camp in Serengeti National Park All meals included.
After breakfast at the camp, enjoy your full day game drive.
This long day will give you enough time to access to the area in which you could not cover.
THIS DAY YOU CAN HAVE AN OPTION ACTIVITY BALLOON SAFARI
One of the most magically memorable of the Serengeti experiences, a balloon safari allows you to drift in silence above the splendour of the plains,
A balloon offers an opportunity to see the Serengeti from a unique perspective. You will notice wildlife trails made by generations of animals impossible to see from the ground.
You will be picked up very early at 5.00am in the morning and from there you will be taken to the start point of the balloon ride. The balloon ride its about 1:30 hours and you can see the sun rise from the balloon and experience the real nature of Africa.
After The balloon Ride you will enjoy champagne and bush breakfast which normally ends at 10am.
After Bush breakfast you will meet your guide and drive you on another fantastic day of game viewing in the Serengeti,
After an extensive game viewing drive back to the camp;

After early breakfast it’s time for the famous Ngorongoro Crater, drive from the lodge to Ngorongoro Conservation area. You will descend down to the Crater floor by our 4×4 wheel drive vehicle for game viewing, where you will witness one of the beautiful landscape in the world.
The Ngorongoro Conservation Area boasts the finest blend of landscapes, wildlife, people and archaeological sites in Africa. Often called “the African Eden”. The Ngorongoro Crater, a World Heritage Site, is nestled in a range of extinct volcanoes which rise to heights of more than 3,500 meters (11,483 feet). It is the largest unflooded and unbroken caldera in the world – 19.2 km (12 miles) in diameter, 610 m (2,000feet) deep and 304 sq. km (117 sq. miles) in area.
Ngorongoro is a huge and deep volcanic Crater. There’s rich pasture, swamps, forest and permanent water on the Crater floor that’s why wildlife is so diverse and numerous. The crater floor is home to the largest population of mammals and you can spot the big 5 here on a relatively small area just stunning. Is the best opportunity to see black Rhino and many other rare species like the black-manned Lion. After game drive enjoy your picnic lunch at Ngoitoktok spring in the crater.
After lunch enjoy the rest of your time for game drive and late afternoon drive to the lodge;

After breakfast drive back to Arusha town for lunch and overnight at Lodge/Hotel or transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
NOTE
This safari can be connected to Zanzibar Island tour, this beautifully Island along Indian Ocean reputed as very unique and attractive white sand beach in the world. After long safari you can swimming and relaxing while starching your back waiting for your flight back home.
