Botswana’s Chobe National Park is the most biologically diverse in all of Africa. It has a huge number of game and is situated in the northern part of Botswana.
The most convenient way to get to the park is from Kasane Airport (BBK). Other close airports are Victoria Falls Airport (VFA) and Harry Mwanga Nkumbula International Airport (LVI).
The waterfront region of the park is great during the Dry Season (from May to October). Wildlife viewing is best from August to October. And, the sunsets are spectacular as well in this season.
The best time to visit the Linyanti concession is in April. And, in the rainy season, zebras migrate to the Savuti area.
Chobe National Park is a great safari destination all year round. And, the time you visit won’t affect your enjoyment here.
Chobe National Park is renowned for its concentration of elephants. The number of elephants is about 50,000. Other animals here are hippos, zebras, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, many species of antelopes, and plenty more.
Some elusive smaller predators can be seen around the park as well. They include servals, African wild cats, and Selous’ mongooses.
There are many Botswana safari activities that you can take part in at Chobe National Park. Like game drives, nighttime safaris, guided bush walks, boat safaris, and photographic safaris.
Hence, Chobe National Park is going to provide a remarkable Botswana Safari. And, one that you’ll remember forever.
