Ol Pejeta Conservancy Overview

Located in Central Kenya’s Laikipia County, the OI Pejeta Conservancy is a non-profit wildlife conservancy. This conservancy is working on the conservation of wildlife.

Best time to visit OI Pejeta Conservancy 

The dry season from June to September is the best time to visit OI Pejeta Conservancy. The reason is these months are the dry season. And the dry season makes the visibility better. 

In the Dry season, the roads are also in good condition. 

Wildlife at OI Pejeta Conservancy 

OI Pejeta Conservancy has the highest densities of wildlife in Kenya. Here visitors can spot endangered animals like African wild dogs, Jackson’s hartebeest, oryx, Grevy’s zebra, serval, cheetah, and Bat-eared fox.

Besides the above animals, the other common African wildlife that can be found here are giraffes, vervet monkeys, hippos, impala, eland, Grant’s gazelle, silver-backed jackal, and many more.

Activities at OI Pejeta Conservancy are visiting the anti-poaching unit of dogs, riding with Rhinos, Lion Tracking, Running with Rangers, bush walks, and many more.
