Lake Manyara National Park Overview

Lake Manyara National Park is located 120km south east of Arusha. Nested right on the base of Great Rift Valley escarpment, is well known for its tree climbing lions reasonable number of elephants and large troops of baboons. Lake Manyara also is known for its flamingos that inhabit the lake. In the rain season they inhabit the edges of the lake about thousand and absent during the dry season. Divided in three zone; Underground water forest in the north from the main gate, Acacia woodland in the park’s center and open grass land to the southern end. this varied landscape has so much to offer.
